The coolest hangout to hit the Libis market is Pier One, a trendy multi-level hot-off-the-grill restaurant cum bar built from shipping container vans.
The idea is a brainchild of owner Francis Juan. Francis Juan, president of Pier One, says it's the only restaurant that gives a choice of a different setting, depending on the client's mood.
The restaurant offers popular Filipino grill in five separate dining areas. There's the Patio which makes you feel like you're dining in the pier, the Deck, a ground level dining which converts into a bar at night, and the Verandas which is popular for intimate dining.
Hot sellers are the Lechon Sisig, the 'Sinuglaw,' a combination of grilled pork and 'kilawing Tanigue' or mackerel in coconut vinaigrette, or the Chicken Binakol, chicken cooked in coconut juice served in coconut shell. For seafood lovers, there's the Sari Saring Sinugba- various 'grilled' seafood served in a platter.
